The awards will be presented at the club's annual banquet held in February 2014 for the largest fish in each Great Lakes species category – king, coho, rainbow, brown and lake trout.  The adult division will be paying out cash for the top three places in all five categories: 1st place - $75, 2nd place - $50, and 3rd place - $25.  The winner of the $500 cash Big Fish Challenge will be drawn, at the awards banquet, from the members who placed first in each category.  The Big Fish Challenge prize replaces the $75 1^st place prize for that category.  The four other participants not selected will each receive $75 cash. The junior division trophies will be awarded for the top three places in all five categories.  If the same junior places in multiple positions within the same category, only one trophy will be awarded to that junior in that category, that being for the highest place.  The trophy for the remaining places will be awarded to the next junior closest in weight. 

You must be a SAGLSF club member at least one day prior to registering a fish.  A club member MUST have caught the fish.  All fish registered must be caught on Lake Michigan or its tributaries.  All fish must be weighed and registered at The Wharf (733 Riverfront Drive) the day it is caught.  No frozen, discolored or altered fish will be accepted.  Rules infractions and/or protests will be heard by the club’s tournament committee.  The Wharf staff and the SAGLSF board/committee member’s decisions are final.  The biggest fish in each category is determined by weight.  You must exceed the current fish by weight to get your name placed on the leader board.  An official sign-up sheet and leader board is displayed at The Wharf.  The online board will be updated on a weekly basis, but the leader board, displayed at the Wharf is the official current leader board
